Something just crossed my mind as I was watching bubblenest videos. How long approximately does it take a male to build a bubblenest big enough to spawn in? I assume the time is longer for new males and shorter for the more experienced as they already know what they're doing, but does anyone have an approximate time, or even the shortest/longest times you watched a betta work on one? (Not counting once the eggs/fry are in it.)

Bubble nest don't mean anything in pre breeding
Smart male will build a nice size nest after breeding
Egg n fry tend to stay inside of the nest longer with a bigger nest
Sorry I don't sit and watch my fish build a nest
So I don't know how long it take
But the biggest nest I've seen
32 oz cup cut in have with bubble fill in inside plus 3" sticking out from the side
Age or experiment don't matter to
It up to the fish if he want it big or small

I have had a successful spawn with just a few bubbles, some claim success with none at all. there really is no requirement, but a big gob of bubbles is impressive!!
