I have noticed a lot of people talking about there baby betta from petco. I was wondering how you tell if they are a baby betta and what there diet should be and if they are usually hardy since they are so small. I know when we buy fish for our fish pond outside we try to buy them smaller so we can watch them grow and we have always had better success with getting them younger.

so I guess what I am asking is

How to tell if they are a baby betta
What should there diet be
Are they usually hardy that young and are they more work than a bigger one and do they require more experience
And anything else you can tell me about them.
If anyone has a picture of one and wouldn't mind posting it here so I can see what everyone is talking about.

For sure feed frozen baby brine shrimp, shave off a tiny bit and thaw it in a shot glass. You can buy tiny spoons from a party supply store and scoop it right above baby Betta, they will learn to take it right off the spoon. There are also many other frozen options for baby betta and some will add nice growth to him/her.
