Hi guys,
some of you may know what this is about already. My new betta just died of worms ( suspected not known) and I have to make sure to wash his tank out extremely well. I have boiled his tank and plants and everything that was originally in with him, I have also put a lot of salt in as that is a bacteria killer and left it overnight with boiling water and salt. I want anyone's opinion on what to do to make sure the tank is perfectly clean so when I do put a new fish in (in the distant future) he won't contract anything?
I have also put his heater and the suckers in with the boiling salt and his filter too and when I take it out tomorrow will boil it about 5 times in hot water for 5 minute periods too, what else is there to do?
