Knowing betta just because having seen some colorful pictures of betta. Having great interest in this part now. If I want to raise some, what I have to prepare? I mean just one of two betta~~~

-Tank that is at least 2.5 gallons
-Water conditioner (SeaChem Prime or Stress Coat+ are good products for this)
-Adjustible, Submersible Heater (25W-50W is best)
-Silk Plants, NO PLASTIC
-Cave or decoration for hiding (No sharp edges!)
-Food made for Bettas (Pellets and/or flakes, dried/frozen bloodworms, etc, there's a lot out there...)

Recommended:
-A very gentle filter
-Aquarium Salt
-Epsom Salt
-Medicine to have on hand.

I hope I didn't forget anything.

Oh and Bettas are supposed to live up to 5 years, some 6 years

there's nothing wrong with having plastic plants with bettas.. as long as they pass the pantyhose test .. it's fine

Just one betta per tank. You cannot put two together --- even a male and a female.

Use dechlorinator when adding/changing water. Keep a small (slow) filter running. And a heater for about 76-80F
