Betta from Thailand coming tomorrow. Do you guys think my tank looks ok? It is 5 gallon. ty.

Thats what I've read but every time I didn't bury them they would float to the top.Looking good!! Just a suggestion...it looks like the anubias is a little too far in the substrate. You don't want the rhizome buried. The roots can be to hold the plant in place
Don't know if you can see from this pic https://i.imgur.com/Vu2cCWW.jpg but i've got a little stick on thermometer. The metal one is just a back up, don't use it when the fish it in the tank mostly cause it looks unflattering, but I did not know that they could get stuck behind it!Lookin' like a million bucks.
I would go with a digital thermometer. A digital one is easier to hide around the side of the tank and no risk of a betta hurting himself if tries to squeeze in between the metal thermometer and the glass.

I find little scraps of driftwood to tie my anubias to at my LFS. I use a few loom bands to secure them.
