guys..my CT is always flares and in hyper when i turn on my 8Watts aquarium light during night times..is that normal???

My boys do the same.... i think it'd be a bit of a shock to them, no expertise here but when the lights turned on and wakes me up in the middle of the night i'd flail around and get cranky.... maybe they do too?

I heard if you turn on a room light first...then the tank light..they adjust better..when I get up in the morning I do it that way..bcuz the tank light is off the whole nite..so I want him to see we sre in the room then when hevstarts coming into view..i turn on his tank lite.

I let my room sit in the room light first for about 10 minutes before turning on my guy's light. He barely reacts now and is more calm.
