that veiltails are my favorite breed? They seem so looked down upon and undesirable.....Are they anyone elses favorite out there?

i love VTs but they aren't my favorite, i have one right now (my avi):

but no it isn't wierd people have differences and similarities, and there not "undesirable" it is only people he places in shows (not all, most).

it's double tail, lol something with 2 tails with me
but i do like VTs though, the last VT i had was a year ago. something with the caudal fin looks awesome, i just like the way it curves or so

i am thinking about getting a super veil, there VTs just with enormous fins:

That looks amazing! He actually looks exactly like my little guy except for the gigantic fins....What color would you say that is?

Super veils? They're just heavy finned lol.

They are undesirable because they are SO mass bred that no one has a pure line! I'm going to be working on creating a pure line of veils by using two ray HMPKs into interesting colored veils.

but the coloration is said purple with red, might be the lighting that dosen't show the purple, ask Chard56
i would like to make a VT pure line, but am first going to work with HMs and all

Purple is a rare color and never shows true in photos. Chard's purple line is totally different than mine. I based mine off of multis, he based his off of coppers I believe.

idk, am still learning about betta genetics. and i have A LOT to learn
