Last night, I was looking at the tank and I saw that my betta was swimming around very oddly and fidgetingly, then this morning I looked at him and he was just laying on his side in the corner so I tapped on his tank and he did not respond, I waited for 2 more hours and looked and he still had not moved at all, so figuring that he was dead, I went to get him out and as I scooped some water in a cup he shot up and just flipped out swimming wildly And very fast around the tank. Then he went under a plant and hasn't moved since. What's wrong? Below I have a picture of what he's doing now.
Update: he just swam moved but only in a weird fidgety circle in which he returned to being motionless
He also lives in a filtered, heated 10 gallon tank by himself
