Is this a good tank?

I am considering buying a 5 gallon kit for a female betta and I found this at my local walmart. I'm just wondering if the filter is too strong? Thanks for any advice

Here's the link to the kit:

I have a tank similar to this (tetra though). She loves it, although she is still getting used to the space (long story but its a huge upgrade) so she doesn't go near the filter much (she sticks to the sides pretty close because of her history) but she loves it none the less.
Looks like a really nice tank especially for the money! get a heater I think and you will be on your way...
If the filter ends up being too strong you can always baffle it. Theres the water bottle method. theres a sticky in betta fish bowl, habitats and accessories that explains how to do it. However I prefer the sponge method. Buy some aquarium sponge. I know petco sells a bunch of around $2 but walmart might have it too. Cut a piece that is the size of the space where the water reenters the tank and then secure it with a rubber band. Super simple.
Also, I'm wondering if anyone has the filter included in this kit because I would like to know how loud it is since it would be in my room?
Looks like a tetra whisper... Very quiet. Quietest I've heard...or..not heard o_O
You may have to baffle it with the water bottle trick to keep the current down for the betta, but you'll know when he's in there!

Okay, thanks :)
What heater would you recommend for this size tank, sorry to keep asking questions >_<
That is why people are here, don't feel bad, good for asking. The Hydor Theo 25watt heaters were the most highly recommended to me. If you can't find in stores out there they have them on Amazon for very good price. Mostly Americans recommending them to me so it shouldn't be too hard to find one and they are great quality apparently, hold temp well and good price.
Any 25watt or 50watt will be good. I have 25watts in my 3 gallons but thats because during the colder months I can't control the heat in my apartment it gets very cold in there.
