okay so someone I shipped some bettas to has this on one of her bettas i sent and she asked some fish people about it, they said bacterial infection.
I had noticed it on a few of my bettas before and thought it was part of them marbling.
Its a reddish spot on their heads.
Heres a few current examples:

Anything I search about red spots always comes back as a bacterial thing, but I couldn’t find anything with spots right on the head like that. It reminds me more of columnaris just because of where it’s located on the fish body. The fact that all the fish tend to be white right where the red spots showed up probably made the columnaris practically invisible and now it’s progressing? It’s just a theory. You could try Furan 2, it treats gram-negative and gram positive bacteria since we are all unsure exactly what that spot is from it would be a good med to cover all your bases.

Hi, while it doesn't exactly match, looking at the red spots almost makes me think Hemorrhagic Septicemia, especially in the last two photos. It's odd that it is in the same spot, but, if there is no chance of them scraping themselves, I wouldn't discount that it is a bacteria along the same lines given the progression. It could further progress into swollen eyes in bettas if it is.

You can try Kanaplex or API Fin and Body cure. This is provided it is a bacterial septicemia. There is also viral septicemia for which there is no cure.
