I do not know how old he is. He was full length when I bought him ~5 months ago. His attitude has not changed and he still has a healthy appetite. He prob has 90% vision loss in the right eye. Doesn't seem to bother him. Any ideas?

He looks to have dragon scaling, which is created by extreme ammounts of irridescence over scales. Unfortunately, sometimes the irridescence can extend too far and cover the eyes partially. It isn't a sign of old age. :)

It shouldn't bother him, but if it does, it'll just be difficulty seeing food... the way to remedy that is just to tap the water with your fingertip whever you have set the pellets. So far, my dragonscale hmpk, Panache, has a tiny bit over his eye. He's over a year old (still young!) and doing well.
