I just got a heater and thermometer for my betta's tank and I just want to make sure that the tempature the heater is keeping his water at is ok for a betta fish. According to my thermometer it is currently a little under 80 degrees approximately 78 or so. is this ok or does it need to be any warmer. I am new to betta fish so I want to make sure Armani has the best care.

That is the temperature you want to be around, so yes it is a good temperature.

What type of thermometer are you using? A stick on type that is on the outside or a glass one on the inside?

Perfect temp! They love 78-80 degrees.

Kfryman, My thermometer is inside the tank it sticks to the side with a suction cup.
