6 Jan: Showed interest in food but spat must of the blackworm out. Active as usual made bubble nest bigger. No signs of the lump size decreasing.

In the Salt Bath. First Day

Day Two

Day Three

I'm Thinking the possibility Cancer. Or a cyst. The length of the multi-cure treatment ends tomorrow. I don't see any change of size in the lump since I first noticed it but he has started eating and energy levels returned. So something either the salt dip or multicure Help in a way. Not sure of what to do next.

Any suggestions? First Picture Day One. Next two are Day two and Fourth is Day 4

The only thing I know is Aquarium Salt (which causes fluid retention) is for external injuries while Epsom Salt (which removes fluid) is for internal issues.

Instead of the AS dips I would do ES. Or, the alternative treatment is one teaspoon ES per gallon leaving fish in 24/7 for no more than 10-14 days. Do daily water changes.

He is lovely. Hoping this helps him.

So I have given him four Epsom salt bath in total over four days. Dosage recommend by the brand of salt I used. Although it said I should give 3 baths a day of 15 minutes until symptoms are gone. He's still active and eating (only black worms). He does not have a issue swimming. Really stuck on what to do. I could up the amount of salt baths he's getting a day or do another broad spectrum treatment or try to draw fluid from the lump. Any ideas?
