Hi All

So I saw this one last week at my local Petsmart that does a pretty good job caring for all the bettas and has a decent selection. I ended up picking up a CT female when I first saw this one and decided to give it one week before going back to get him/her. Don't worry, they are not togther, in thier own 11g planted cubes. I got this new one today and when I was done with acclimating it to my water, he/she was released in the tank. Right away, I noticed the slightest difference from the girl I grabbed last week. This one also partially flared at 1 of my guppies, but dropped it after a few seconds and is pretty chill now in the tank.

boy or girl???

Yeah, I'm thinking male too. He seems pretty chill though, so I'm not too sure how long it would be before I got a picture of him flaring. I have him in with a petite guppy trio and he could care less, so i think he's full of less piss and more love.

He colored up a bit too, way too pale at the store.

yep, a boy. I removed the divider between my tanks, so he got to see the girl next to him. Could not stop flaring, plus his fins have gotten longer.
