What are best medications to have on hand at all times? I've heard Kanaplex is one of them but I'm wanting to know if there are anymore just in case regular ol' clean water, AQ and ES doesn't work. Thanks! :)

Aquarium Salt
Epsoms Salt
Indian Almond Leaves
Stress Coat
Malachite Green
Kanaplex
Prazi-Pro
Garlic Guard
General Cure
Maracyn
Maracyn-2

A good few of those i make sure to have on hand. I also now have levamisole and I also have fenbendazole flakes as well (internal parasites who are immune to usual medications).

If you opt to keep medications on hand: Note the expiration date on the package.

Some medications lose their potency after time, making them less effective.

But other medications can become toxic after their expiration date, making them potentially lethal.

Also, the pH of your tank is important. Some medications are not as effective outside of their 'ideal' pH range.
