he looks like a halfmoon betta totally when he is flared, I have a halfmoon and they are so cute!

But he looks really young though! He's about 1.5" long, time will tell I think, I'm thinkin about housing him into a 2.5 gallon or maybe a 5 gallon.. what do you think? Any name suggestions?

I could be wrong on the tail type, but i think a five gallon would be best, they need more space then pet stores say. I have two bettas in two gallons becuase i cant afford to get a five gallon. In the long run, a five gallon is best but a two gallon is fine. I pick names based on personality, like my male halfmoon is super hyper and active so his name is Beckham. Maybe Aurora becuase he looks like the northern lights?But he looks really young though!
