Hi everyone,

I know that plastic plants are not ideal for betta fish, however I think my new buddy Nandor might be missing the one that was originally in his tank!

I’ll attach a picture of the plastic one, but I had a thick plant in the back of the tank that kinda hindered the flow of the filter and that Nandor frequently rested in and under. I was concerned his fins would get torn so I swapped out the plant with a silk plant that he's now avoiding. He’s also started swimming up and down the front glass, where as before he hung around the back more with the shady plants. Maybe I’m an over concerned fish lady but I really think he liked the other plant. He’s in a ten gallon tank alone with a reasonably sized dragon he likes to swim through and rest on. I don’t think space is an issue... any advice is appreciated! :)
