Is a slightly high ammonia or a slightly high nitrate/nitrate more dangerous?
What can I do besides water changes for a couple weeks for my ADF to know/help his water conditions? I'm getting a good and lasting water kit I about that time. In mean times how many water changes should I do?
He Is in a 2.5 filtered and heated tank

2.5 gallons cannot be cycled, or if they can it's unstable and never recommended...

How often do you clean the tank and how much?

WHat's the temperature of the tank?

And finally, what's "slightly high" for ammonia or nitrite/nitrate?

I'm not trying to fully cycle the tank, just have it cleaner between changes.
I do 50% once a week
The temp is about 80 degrees
And the ammonia was actually perfect and the others were
Nitrite: 3
Nitrate: 80

Those levels are much too high. Nitrite should always be at 0. I would change all of his water immediately. I don't know how sensitive frogs are but they are sensitive.

A nitrate of 80 is definitely high. I always try to keep mine under 20

nitrate should usually be between 5 and 30, 30 being the most.
