So I figured with my fry growing quickly it'll only be a matter of time before I start selling them
So I'm putting this up now and I will update this thread regularily when I have fish for sale.
First, ABSOLUTELY NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL U.S.A
So there are a few things you may want to know before purchasing bettas from me. I am extremely dedicated to customers and I want to ensure that your experience with me goes above and beyond.
Here are some perks to buying from me;
-All breeding pairs that are sold receive a free bag of snails for the spawning tank and free fry food cultures and possibly some live plants.
-To anyone who can take in an extra pet may receive a free betta in their box (please specify in your order).
-To those who ask kindly I may include free surprises in the box (such as snails or live plants).
-You will get to see exactly how your bettas are packed and thorough instructions regarding unpacking and acclimating are included. I am very anal retentive about shipping and I go to great lengths to ensure your bettas are bagged, packed, and sent off in the best manner possible.
-You will receive background information on your fish (like how they were raised).
-Each bag is labeled accordingly to the order and notes on specific fish are included so no guesswork has to be done (especially with multiple lot orders).
Before you even think about ordering you must agree to the DOA policy. I do not offer live arrival on any shipping method. Fish are fragile and you must accept that the betta/s you purchase may arrive dead. However, I use only the best shipping methods and best shipping supplies to ensure that the bettas I send will arrive alive. If you do recieve a dead betta email me with a clear photo of the dead fish within one hour of delivery and we'll talk it out. If you believe the death was my fault I have no problems replacing the fish or refunding the money for the fish (shipping is non-refundable). I will replace the fish for just discounted shipping of $12 or $28 depending on which you prefer and time of year.. If you prefer I will refund the money of just the fish. Any failure to agree to these terms means you do not get a replacement fish or refund. Express shipments must be signed for or DOA policy is void.
Absolutely no Priority shipping from October to April.
If you wish to pick up your bettas from the Post Office please tell me in your order so I can label the box accordingly.
Also keep in mind I may refuse sale to you. I do look in your past posts to ensure my bettas go to a good home.
Payment must be through PayPal only. I will not accept other methods.
Shipping costs are as follows:
1-4 bettas: $15 Priority and $35 Express. Over four fish, add $2 for each additional fish.
I do not charge for heat packs as they are included in my shipping charges and I also do not charge a box fee as insulation prices are covered in the shipping charge. I choose if a heat pack is needed. I can’t stand when sellers have the customer choose when the customer generally has no idea how shipping fish works! I take care of all shipping issues. If I say it's too cold to ship and you think it's fine we go by what I say.
All shipments go out on Monday or Tuesday so be sure someone is home on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday the week your bettas come (I will include estimated date in the PM or email back to you). I do not ship without your OK so if you do not notify me within a few days of shipment I will hold your bettas for shipment the next week. Since I use labels via PayPal I include a tracking code for your box so you can track it easily on www.usps.com.
Packaging:
Bettas are bagged in 4" x 18" 2 mil bags filled with a few inches of water. The bag is knotted and air trapped inside since air is more important for shipping bettas than water is. The ratio is 50% water and 50% air (though generally it ends up being 1/3 water, 2/3 air). The bag is inverted into a second shipping bag and that bag is knotted to obliterate corners. The box is lined with styrofoam anywhere from 1/2" thick to 1" thick. If I have some available I line the box with reflective foil insulation. I plastic liner is placed in the bag with some shredded paper. With 1-2 bags I lay the bettas down flat. When more fish are purchased I place the fish upwards. Heat packs are placed on the styrofoam box lid or under the fish, wrapped in two paper lunch bags. The fish are kept well away from the heat pack to avoid them being cooked. I then stuff the box with plastic bags or newspaper and ensure the fish won't move around. The styrofoam lid is placed on top, the box sealed, and a label printed.
Each lot is labeled with pictures of the parents. Individual fish have the same main lot number as their spawn but include a different number that tells me which fish they are.
Please copy and paste this to your PM or email and fill it in accordingly:
Lot Number:
I can/can’t receive a free pet betta (specify):
I can/can’t receive free plants, snails, or fry food (specify):

I will PM or email you your total and where to send the payment J
When you receive the shipment I ask you PM or email me to notify me and please send me an honest review of my services (all are unedited and posted to my site).
Keep in mind the only bettas for sale are the ones listed in my lots so please don’t PM or email me regarding different fish.
