hahaha of course he ate it. Bettas are insectivores. I'm sure he got a thrill of hunting live food. Don't worry, he is fine. You might want to fast him a day though since he already ate

He must have enjoyed that a bunch, haha. I'd avoid doing that on purpose, due to the potential for wild-caught food to carry parasites, but since betta fish are insectavores it was probably even good for him
