Hi I'm new!!!!
Meet Patronus, my sweet betta, I got him on September 1 from PetSmart. He lives in a 5 gallon heated tank, all by his lonesome, and he loves it.

He was on the small side and pale white, hence his name.

Over the past couple of weeks, I've noticed his color changing. This is Patronus today! .

I suspect his color changed because he's getting older, he's so cute. As you can see his tips are still white, so I imagine those will be changing over soon as well. Sadly, now I feel like his name doesn't fit haha

A color change that drastic usually means he's a marble I think Patronus still fits him, but maybe Prongs would be more suitable to you?

I just recently found out that I own a marble betta too! Sometimes marbles change colors for their whole life, so don't be surprised if he changes again! He he's very pretty with both colors though! Do you have a picture of your whole tank? It seems pretty well decorated. Your fish looks very happy & healthy. Good job! Keep us updated on his changing colors. I love to watch fish change.

I really wish I had one. I'd love to see how the betta would change over time. I've seen a lot of interesting transformations from other marble betta owners.​

He CAN hide in it and he does! haha

You can't see it in the picture very well, but there is also a vase in there behind that tree on the left hand side, that he can hide in as well.
