It looks kinda fuzzy, is that accurate?
I would have to check during the day. took these pictures late at night. I think I might want to move her into my QT tank tomorrow to get a better look at her conditions for sure and I will post a cleaner picture when I do. it looks more lumpy than fuzzy. but I could be wrong.
Cool. Let us know!
Oh what a cutie! =)

Hmm, strange yet familiar. Appearance-wise, it's actually very similar to what Dart's was like in the beginning but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Personally, I would try some aquarium salt. Not the full 3x max, but maybe 2x and see if it does anything. Did the Epsom salt bring it down?
the Epsom salt shrunk it a little. but should I will try the Aquarium salt? I will be putting her in a QT tonight.
That's good. Yes, I would try the AS too. Keep us posted.
Don't use both at once!!
here is another shot of her. though its still blurry but you can see it a little better. bad news, I see a lump forming on her back in this picture. =(

This is a female right? If so I've read somewhere that a lump could be an oviduct or something like that. Here's a link that might help:

oh Hahaha no not her egg spot. this lump is right under her chin. =)
Oh yes, I wouldn't use the Epsom at the same time as AS -- good point, haveyouhadyourteayet.

The ovipositor on her belly is no problem, of course. The very slight bump on her back is too tiny to tell in the pic, I think. Does it look more like something when you look at it, Tree?

Yeah it looks more define when looking at her in person, but I hope I am wrong about what it might be. T^T

You see, I have a boy (Tuna) that has lymphocystis, and I hope I did not spread the virus. The only thing I share with the bettas is the gravel vacuum but I make sure to use very hot water to clean it once I am finished with his tank. (I do his tank last as well so that way the tube will dry out the next time I need to use it.)
I am trying to think of how she might have gotten it, if it is lymphocystis. I am thinking I might have placed a plant in her old tank that was in Tunas tank and forgot the virus spreads. T^T

thanks pfenty <3
Sorry to hear about the lymphocystis. :( Poor Tuna. Hopefully it hasn't spread. If it is lymph, AS won't do anything, right? I don't know much about it.
Nope, it wont help. but maybe it's not so I am still trying it. ^^
So I treated her with Epsom salt. nothing happened it didn't grow but did not shrink. So I moved her into my QT tank and added Fungus cure. I hope this will do the trick in getting rid of the lump. =( otherwise I might have to use Aquarium salt next. Or should I use General cure that I have?
her lump seems to be going down very very slowly. I tried treating her with Fungus cure but nothing was happening I kept her in the meds for 2 days and she started show signs of clamped fins from the meds so I took her out and she is fine. I think I will just keep her tank clean and watch it closely.

Thanks for asking =)
That sounds like a good plan. So glad to hear she's doing okay and the lump is diminishing!
