Currently in a 90 gallon thank I have 1 platinum white HMPK male and female, 1 female crown tail, 1 koi HMPK, 1 HMPK black female. All quite happy except the koi keeps chasing some gals every now and then. Only had to remove a female elephant HM due to being picked on but all are ok so far. Let me know if it’s wrong

Welcome to the forum. That is one very nice tank. I like the way it's planted, nice and thick with lots of places for them to get out of each others way. One male in a 90 gal and all those females. He must be in Hog heaven. If you start having problems with any of them being aggressive I would remove the male to another tank. However with that size tank I think I would add more females. You do have room.

Ha thanks for the welcome. Right now there’s actually 2 males. The white plakard would be the alpha as the koi just swims away when he flares. I’m very happy but it’s so hard to find females here (Perth, Australia). I think I’m going to solely focus on plakards. My fav breed atm

I don’t know about adding more though. One thing I did regrettably was putting duckweed into the tank. Looks a mess. Should have gotten something leafy. I’ll slowly remove those duckweeds over time.

I don’t intend to breed them. Just as long as we can be one big happy family I’m happy.

I'm glad every one gets along any smaller tank, and I would say your going to have problems. But I think it should work. Good luck.
As far as that duck weed goes your going to need even more luck getting rid of that stuff.

Hi, from the BF Mod team we would like to offer the following advice.

While we do not recommend such, if contemplating housing males together or males and females together please read the following sticky - https://www.bettafish.com/102-betta-fish-compatibility/124190-betta-compatibility-each-other.html:

Two points we would highlight are:

1. Problems that can occur: The females gang up on the male, the male kills or severely injures the females, they become lethargic, stressed, clamped, and more prone to illness. Not all males can be in this set up.

2. Such setups are often "successful" while the Betta are young and sexually immature. However, once they reach sexually maturity all bets are off. Mixed sex tanks and sororities are in a constant state of stress even if all seems fine on the surface.
