My halfmoon will wiggleswim around (ah, his long skirts, lots of drag) for a while, and periodically either take a catnap or come to a rest somewhere, arch his back, and not flare, but just let his fins drift gently toward a fuller spread. And of course as soon as I try to sneak up with the camera, he sees me coming and wiggles up front and center to greet me. Which is sweet, but it makes it terribly hard to get a picture of "Chicory Rampant". I'm still trying to get one with a fully vertical dorsal, but I did manage to catch him arching finally!
