LOL. Those are names I could totally see myself using as well. I like using name themes for my fish. My other two bettas are Kurt and Blaine, and they live with Platies named Santana, Brittany, Artie, Finn, and Puck.
That's a great idea for the cat! Bins are so versatile. I love them. The three on the left are 3.5 gallons, the two next to that are 4.5 gallons, and the last one is the largest aquarium keeper (before I wised up and decided on bins). LOL
This is a great example of how betta can be housed in stuff other than aquariums! And I agree. Bins are great for all kinds of things. I have a large (50 gal) bin that we made into a littler box because we have cats that don't like lids and are rather large. Another great use of the versatile bin!
Can I ask what brand the 50gal bin you have is? We have a 29 gal that we are currently using for our red eared slider. It was the largest I've seen thus far. We are planning on making him a pond at some point but Id love to upgrade him for the time being. ^_^ Posted via Mobile Device
It's the basic Sterlite tub (opaque tho). We found it at Walmart, and I don't remember if there were any clear ones. I also use one as a goldfish QT tank. (Another wonderful use for these things!)
A turtle pond sounds awesome! I helped a friend build one once (lotta sweat and sunburns). It was pretty neat to see the finished product. I'd love to see pictures when you guys get it done!
