Plakat Galaxy Marble Betta.

This is was the title we purchased him under. This photo is right before we introduced him to the Female. He changed colors 3 different times within the breeding process.

This is the first color phase....
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum! He's such a beautiful boy!

I do believe that, that, is correct! Marbles are quit cool little things. He's also definitely a plakat, and the galaxy part, just making a common deduction, is usually stated when they have multiple colours in a just kinda smashed together way. As in, they don't fit one of the other patterns, like koi or Hellboy.

I could be wrong on the galaxy part since I'm just going off what I've seen, but everything else is right!

This is our boy Thailand after his first successful spawning. This is the same fish as in the previous post. He know totally iridescent green gree/blue galaxy pattern has disappeared.

I will post a photo of the female that he ended up spawning with. If you guys could help us out with her correct identity that would be great as well.
