Just moved to MI... Burrrr.. Really missing the FL weather :-(

My neighbor was throwing out a 29G and I snagged it. However, I have nothing to put it on. I'm on a budget, and nothing seems sturdy enough for a 29g.

I'd prefer black, and under $100. Help?

Go to some thrift shops just to check out what they have as furniture. You might get lucky and find something the right size. 8)

I've done that! If you're lucky you should find something that will work. I got a tank "stand" for $35!

I saw THIS and thought it would look and work great for any aquarium. I found it at walmart for about $22.

@ Zergy: The coffee table seems a bit unsteady. I wouldn't trust a big tank on it.

I never seem to get lucky at thrift stores, I've went to a few today. There're loads around here. I'll be going out more tomorrow.

i made mine out of plywood for less than $80 but then again i am a carpenter.

I agree with the above, go to a thrift store. Most of the furniture I have my tanks on came from one and spent no more than $30 for all. They are very nice looking, solid pieces too.
You might get lucky and find other things for your new place too.

Ok, this may sound odd, but be sure to check any used furniture for bed bugs. Just sayin'.
