Recently I was convinced to make swich from fake plants to live ones. I am really excited to set new homes for my bettas. And this is how I rearranged 5 gallon aquarium kit for my doubletail halfmoon betta Rainbow. On first picture its tank befor change on second new setup with rock and drift wood and live plants. He also has new tank mate Gold Mystery Snail. They getting along pretty good. IMG_20200128_133403_876_1580827888380.jpg 20200204_094121_1580827901757.jpg
I think that Rainbow is much happier. He swims between leaves, lay his tail on rock and wood, follows Mystery Snail. I think I will add few more plants. But I am happy with how tank looks today. Any suggestions what else can I put in the tank. I have Java fern, Amazon Sword, Anubius and Moss balls so far.

I added one more Amazon Sword and Anubius on the rock. I think I did reach the limit of plants for my 5 gallon tank. It looks like that now 20200206_060704_1580987330757.jpg I have to wait for plants to spread little bit. Only downfall of it is that I barely see my Betta. He has lots of hiding places 😍

Well Darlin that means you have enough plants . LOL (IF YOU CAN SEE YOUR BETTA AT A GLANCE YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PLANTS.) This is the rule of thumb when keeping betta in a planted tank. So now you know that you may have enough. And your Rainbow will love you for it.

It is looking gorgeous. I wouldn't add anything else as it might fail to emphasise beauty of bettas.

Just beautiful! :)
