I'm Jay and I take care of two bettas. My own, Glitch, a green alien betta, and Finn, my grandma's dumbo halfmoon. I've had Glitch for 3 weeks now and Finn has been with us for 3 days. In addition to the bettas I also have an english springer spaniel, 3 tarantulas, 2 isopod colonies, and a small jungle of houseplants.

This is Glitch. He's currently in a 10g but I'm moving him to a 37g soon!

This is Finn. He's in a 5g and seems happy in it so far.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! 🥰

I'll definitely be posting the 37g once it's all set up and its progress as it grows in! The plants for it are coming sunday and I'm super excited about it! Glitch will have some tankmates in the 37g but I'm not sure what yet. I want to get about 10 kuhli loaches and some more shrimp and according to this stocker that still leaves some room for one more species of fish. I'm thinking a school of 8-10 rasbora. I was really interested in celestial pearl danios and emerald dwarf danios but on further research I don't think they're a good fit for my tank.

Here is the 10g Glitch is in now
Plant Rectangle Organism Grass Terrestrial plant

I like the wild overgrown look but my grandma doesn't like how dark it is. The floating plants have taken over since I installed a terrestrial growlight above the the tank. There are so many roots from the dwarf water lettuce that I often can't see my fish through them. It's not something I necessarily mind but I do hope I get to see him a bit more often in the big tank.

Both of your boys are gorgeous!!!

And, I've gotta ask, what isopod species do you keep!?
A fellow keeper here, I've got Armadillidium Vulgare :)
