As well can you floate a betta in the bag as you would a gold fish so they will be used to the water temp?
If yes how long? and if not how do I put him in?

oohhh my gosh i love the design of your tank! and yes its best if you float the betta so that it can get used to the temperature of the tank water. i normally float mine for about half an hour

First of all, WOW! Awesome tank.

And yes, you have to float the bag when you get your betta. I usually do it for about 30 minutes and I add a little bit of water from the tank to the bag every 5 minutes (just add about 5ml) so he can get used to the water as well as the temperature. Less chances of shock.

Your temperatures are fine- it's not too much fluctuating.
And yes I'm pretty sure that is a boy fish, and must say he is very lucky to have 20gallons all too himself :D

I was looking at that as a possible filter option since I couldn't find the Red Sea Nano. How is it working so far for you? Any problems, complaints, observations? *grins innocently* There aren't a lot of reviews for it online, so no one's reported troubles yet, which worries my pessimistic little self.

I find it good.
It is very quite only put my betta in there tonight so i dono much.
The guy who owns the pet store I got it from sujested it because it takes in and puts out but no a big current for a betta.
his betta at home is in a 10G to himself and uses this filter he found it good, as well he has his baffled with plants.
