New kid!!BEAUTIFUL! blue betta boy!
I bought him as a gift to myself for my birthday. Hes adorable and at first I thought he was a dull brown color but now his color is really perking up! And I mean really! You can see how bright he's gotten from the third picture of when I first brought him home. Sooo nifty!
His first bubble nest today after only 3 days. I was so proud of my little boy ^-^.Its huge and he diligently tended it for hours while I did my homework.
Now he was labeled as a double tail halfmoon plakat. But what would his coloring be considered? I was thinking about a chocolate and blue but Im not sure since Im colorblind to blue and cooler tones. He also is starting to show a secondary ring of coloring on his tail. Ill try and get a picture but hes skittish. Does this make him some sort of butterfly mix??
Oh right and his name is Nero Senri. Nero won the name vote I held but I added Senri because it can be written as 1,000 ri, and a ri is a nautical mile of 2.4. And I want Nero to swim that many and more ^^. His older brother fish is jealous of his bubble nests

Not my birthday yet ^^ in a week here. Its early ;-) I was originally just going to get a better heater for my ten gallon and then I saw the betta selection they had and well the heater was cheaper than expected.. The obvious resulted.Oh man, btw happy birthday! By the looks of that boy you must have had a good birthday
Best part was I only saw 3 sick bettas and the lady had just finished feeding and changing the waterl. And they even had teeny tiny bits of moss ball in each container. 0-0 I was impressed!
just at my petsmart yesterday, i saw like an orannge doubletail plakat.. he was so cute! i wouldve gotten him and my white halfmoon but the cute little plakat cost so much
