I was shopping for some last minute stuff for my 30 Galon tank that I started to cycle last night and seen a very pretty Male Crown Tail Betta. He is so pretty that I couldn't walk away, I just had to buy him! I don't have a tank for him seeing I can not put him into the 30 Gallon with my Female Bettas when it is ready. And can not put him in the 10 Gallon the Females are in already because I will be turning that into a crabitat for my Fiddler Crabs.

So....Does anyone have a suggestion for a little tank for my new Male Betta? I want it to be bigger than a 1 gallon but no bigger than a 5 gallon and have it include a heater and filter with a possible light included in the tank kit.

Last of all....Any name ideas for him? Let me know :tongue:

I have a 5 gallon that I like a lot. It's a hawkeye. LED lighting done in blue and white with 3 settings. Came with the filter but not the heater. Filter would have to be baffled.

He's pretty though. Really like his coloration.

He is pretty, he reminds me of a unicorn or my little pony or something fantastical yet childlike . .. I will think about if I can come up with any ideas for a name.

My Petco is literally 5 minutes away from me, in the very first shopping center close to my place. Every time I go I stare at all the bettas and it's very hard not to get any, especially since I have "favorites" I keep my eye on, and when they are still there it's even harder not to get them. There is an all white one that's been there forEVER it seems, that I like a lot.

I think my mom would kill me though. Sadly I don't have my own place at the moment so I have to stay under control . . hah a

Well the only name I could come up with for him was "Ace" LOL But still open for suggestions.

Oh I know! When I see Bettas I want them all ha ha! I seen a BEAUTIFUL Betta yesterday at Petco, he was a Double Tail Half Moon and was a metalic shiney medium colored blue body with bright blood red fins! I never seen such an awesome Betta! He is $12.99 and I wanted to buy him but I already spent so much money lately on setting up and buying tons of stuff for my 30 Gallon, plus getting new stuff to turn the 10 Gallon into a crabitat for my Fiddler crabs and I just bought a new tank and fish stuff for my new Male Betta. Ugh I had a hard time leaving Petco without buying him! Then at Petsmart there were lots of new Male Dragon Scale Bettas, they cost too much also! I had to look away before I was tempted too much! LOL But I did see a little Female Betta at Walmart for only 3 dollars, and being a sucker for white Bettas I bought her hee hee!
