Yay thanks everyone I am so ready to breed them but I am going to wait a few weeks to make sure they have settled in properly. :)
I remember something about water hardness inducing curling more?

They're awesome
With long fin bettas they are more prone to curling because they have got so much fin to carry, also as they age the fins will curl more because they will get older and a bit more...frail than they used to be, meaning it is not nearly as easy for them to carry their fins properly!!!
Crowntail's fins can curl due to the pH level in the tank, this is not the owners fault it is just that crowntails rays are more delicate than other fish.
