I have four AquaTop PFE-1 HOB filters for sale. These are still in the unopened box from TruAqua. I have used this filter on 2.5 and 5.5 aquariums. They have very good flow-control and can be turned way back to almost no flow if that's what you wish. I love these filters and can't recommend them highly enough. If you filter each section of a divided these are perfect.

With HM with excessive finnage I start with the lowest setting and gradually increase until the Betta has gained strength to handle more current.

One filter for $15.00 or four filters for $55.00. Free Priority shipping. Please pay as "Goods."

Do you think it would work on a ten gallon? Or is it too small? I may get one anyway, my 2.5 is still empty.

Do these filters auto-start? Lack of auto-start is one of reason I'm thinking of replacing the filter on my smaller tank. I really hate needing to mess with the filter every time I do a water change.
They will restart as long as the water doesn't evaporate below a certain level. Don't know if that makes sense. I don't have to refill the chamber when I do water changes and they start back up unless the water level the chamber completely empties.

They should work on a 10 and they definitely work on my 2.5....much better than the Finnex which was too strong until I used a sponge on the intake.

I do have a PFE-3 that's NIB.
