Alas, with the many power outages my area has I find I cannot use HOB filters unless they are self-starting. For that reason I have four AquaTop PFE-1 HOB filters. Filters are rated for up to 15 gallons and are 45 GPH.
These are still in the unopened box from TruAqua. I have used this filter on 2.5 and 5.5 aquariums. They have very good flow-control and can be turned way back if that's what you wish. I love these filters and can't recommend them highly enough. If you filter each section of a divided these are perfect.
With my new HM with excessive finnage I start with the lowest setting and gradually increase until the Betta has gained strength to handle more current.
Four NIB filters are $55.00 which includes shipping. Pay as "Goods."
Aquarium Hang on Filter PFE-1 - 15 Gal Capacity, 45 GPH, 2W
Note: Free shipping is for parcel post. For Priority I need your ZIP to calculate.
