I recently moved my Betta fish, nugget, to a bigger tank and he's been really happy, swimming around a lot and making bubble nests. I added a new tank decoration (spongebob's pineapple house lol) and nugget started swimming less and hiding in the pineapple and I didn't know if he was scared or something. I took it out two days later to see if his mood would improve but he's still not swimming around a lot. Why?

He finally has a hidey hole, Goblin loves to hide in his cave.

So he's actually happy even if he's not swimming around and not making bubble nests anymore?

Bubble nests are never a sign of happiness, only a sign of readiness to breed. He can be just as happy. He comes out to visit you and is still social he's fine.
