Hey! I’m JLynn, and I‘ve been dabbling in low-tech planted tanks since 2016 which was when I got my first betta! He sadly passed away a couple years later, and it’s taken until last week for me to pick up another betta. He’s a Halfmoon King, maybe a galaxy? He’s not as big as other kings (yet), but he’s very feisty and isn’t fond of anything entering his tank 
Before my betta, I had a heavily planted tank with amano shrimp. I decided to start new with this dude, so we’ll see where he takes me! You can have this picture of him hunting roots as tax He’s recovering from fin damage/maybe fin rot, fingers crossed all will be well!
