I've seen this.

the commercial actually shows TWO goldfish in the tank as well. Which is CRAZY
I saw the commercial it's not healthy for the goldfish to live in such containers and i bet that half of the owners used tap water for this
It's a good concept. They need to make it bigger and advertize using water conditioner. But really you should get a bigger tank and a siphon. Much easier on the fish. Also you shouldn't permanantly keep fish in bowls in the first place. Really your just buying the decorations from them. We don't know if they are safe and if the plant is plastic or silk. They also don't say how much to change and the tank design probably doesn't take out fish waste, just the water. Remember 2.5 for bettas 20 for one goldfish and 10 for each one after in the same tank. Thanks for listening!

Honestly, I don't think it's that big of a deal - they're advertising the product and how it works, etc.

It's basically like putting a baby in the same bed with a dog to look cute - we don't ask if the dog is mellow, even-tempered, degree of training and socialization, etc. but we won't normally do this to children.

Pet care sheets are one Google search away so while it shouldn't be the advertisers job to include tons of info for just some eye-candy, I -do- think they can add notes about how many fish and what size would be suitable for their product.
The prouduct is so sad to see.
