Hi everyone!
I'm Oiseau, known as Alice in real life, and I'm a 20-year-old professional copy editor and writer. I just finished a contract with a Canadian magazine in October and I'll be starting my last semester of college in January. :3 Hurray!
I grew up around fish when I was younger, but never had my own. Earlier this year, my boyfriend bought me a 5g tank off Craigslist with some tetras and I fell in love. I bought my first betta a few months ago, so I'm still relatively new, and learned the hard way how to properly care for one. Flounder is now happy and healthy in his 5.5g tank. I still have my tetras, along with two dwarf puffers.
All my other pets live with my parents, as I moved into an apartment with my boyfriend in April and couldn't take any of them. I have 2 dogs and 4 cats.
