I am fixing to do three new spawns and I would like some input on the pairs.

First off I have this male. He is a steel/yellow bicolor butterfly OHM.

I have 3 possible females in mind for him

1st
steel/yellow DTHM

2nd
purple gas HM

3rd
Purple gas HMPK

The second pair would be with this new copper dragon male . I have 3 possible females for him too.

1st
fancy dragon DTHM

2nd
Fancy dragon HM

3rd
Metallic Blue HM

The third spawn I have in mind is with my newest HMPK from Karen. He is a aqua blue/orange bicolor dragon.

I only have one female for him and she is the purple gas HMPK.

With your copper dragon, I think your fancy dragon HM. ^_^ I'd definitely buy from that pair.
So many Bettas, so little time...... heh.

I like her and she does have copper patches in her marbling . I am worried I might lose some form with her though....

lol Yesser :)
I'm not a good judge on form with females yet. >>;
Wow beautiful collection you have there! I would choose the copper hm with that fancy hm.
Yea the dthm female is excellent much, better than photographs.
Also love the hmpk pair. They have nice balance fins. They would make some beautiful frys!
First male with 3rd female
Second male with first female
BEAUTIFUL BETTAS! I THINK IT WOULDN'T MATTER WHAT YOU PAIR THEM HAHA Your copper dragon male is beautiful!
In the first set of females, I'd go with the third female. In the second set, the DT. They have the best fin form compared to the rest of your females.
Since your males have better form, I'd suggest breeding F1 to the father (both HM males).

Your PK is asymmetrical so you can breed him to the females that has long anal fins. If you want to create symmetrical PK, breed him to the first DT - again, breed F1 back to father

What effect does HMPK have on HM? I know many people use them to help correct HM form which is why I got them but I am not very clear on the exact details.

I agree on the pairing as well btw although I will be breeding the copper male to the metallic blue female at some point. :)
Thicker body/tail base
More support on fin n shorten it up
Dthm
Is use to blance out the fin and boost the top fin

I will be spawning him but I have to get a female for him.
+1 Curly

HMPK x HM - is mainly to improve the HM. But: For the PK; enlarge (1/3 of body length) the fins (original PK has smaller fins), create symmetrical HMPK or only balance the dorsal and caudal.
To create symmetrical HMPK, you will eventually have to breed to a DT because they must have longer dorsal.
