Hi all
I wonder if someone can help me please? My standard male betta has recently had cotton wool-like growth on his left gill cover. I gave him weekly treatments of Interpet Anti Fungus and Finrot (6 pipettes, 30l tank), this has worked and the cotton wool-like growth has completely disappeared. I've now found that when he flares (I accidentally scare him when he comes out of hiding to see my face staring into the tank) he isn't flaring his left side, only his right. Could this be an after-effect of the fungus or could it be he treatment affecting him? I am ceasing the treatment now as the fungus has cleared, but I am worried about him.
Many thanks
Jen
