Ok, just did a water test and the pH is 7.6. Is this a level that is ok for him? All other readings came back 0 ppm except for the ammonia, which is .25 ppm. Will do another water change to lower that level.
Hi. Last dechlorinator used was by aquarium pharmaceuticals but I have just bought a bottle of bettasafe by tetra. Testing kit is by aquarium pharmaceuticals. I haven't done enough water changes, which I hate to admit but I'm getting with the program now. Betta is acting fine. Active and eating ok. Spits out the pellets but likes the brine shrimp but I can only find it frozen. Water temp is showing between 75 to 79 degrees.Your pH is fine.....
What kind of dechlorinator are you using and what kind of test products....remember some dechlorinators can change the ammonia to ammonium and the test products can't tell the difference.
What size is the tank, filter, live plants, additives used, water temp, how long has the tank been setup, how much and how often are the regular water changes......How is the Betta acting.....
