Plant help

Greetings all:

I do not seem to have much luck with live plants in my tank. They do OK for 2-3 weeks and then they start to crash. The anacharis all dies off. I got a java fern and it looked good for a couple of weeks, but now it is crashing hard. Can anyone tell anything from this photo as to what the issue might be? Too much light, not enough? The tank has LED lighting. It does not look terribly bright to me, but some others have claimed they are able to keep plants in this same tank. Thanks in advance.

+1 to Tiffanini's questions. Personally, I'd replace the LED with a standard flourescent daylight bulb (roughly 2 watts per gallon, 5000-7000 kelvin). Most plants will do well under that. :)
