I was wondering...

You know those Plastic bins you can get at wal-Mart or Target? Can you make a fish tank out of those? I would want to...Just an Idea. Even for other fish?

I've used sterilite totes for my garter snake when he was a baby.. now he's in 10 gallon tank for a year or so until he's full grown and then he'll be in a 20 gallon. I dont know about fish though, I'm sure they'd be fine.

I use sterilite/rubbermaid plastic storage bins as tanks all the time. They make great hospital/QT tanks, they're safe to heat, and you can't beat the price--about $3 for a 5 gallon bin. They're very ideal for bettas and other fish because they tend to be shallower than they are long.

Cool!!
They really do work!
Haha
I happened to have a sturdy plastic storage drawer available to use. It will work for the ghost shrimp i'm hoping to get. It doesn't show reflections or glares and you can see from the inside out really well.
I took it from a plastic storage shelf that I have, so the bottom shelf is missing....lol
But i'm gonna cover it for my cat to sleep inside. :)
