Hello everyone! I'm new here, but I've referenced a lot of your posts in taking care of my new betta fish, Azul. I've had several betta fish before, but this one by far is the most spoiled. I've been paying much more attention to the little details to make him as happy as possible.

Just recently, I noticed this white patch appear on his head. At first I was concerned it was ich, but he doesn't have any other white spots on his body, and this is more of a cluster or a patch, if you will. He hasn't been acting different or anything. He eats his normal portion of food everyday and is quite robust. That being said, I am still concerned. Do you have any idea of what it could be?

Some helpful information might be that I just added sandy substrate to his environment, and the water has become slightly cloudy because of it. Also, he has one tank mate, a mystery snail named Oro.

What additives do you use? water conditioner, that's it

Symptoms and Treatment:
When did you first notice the symptoms? I noticed a small little dot sometime ago, although I'm not sure that it's related. I took full notice of it two days ago.
