Another "Walmart Rescue" -- Labeled as Female Betta. Shy, but seems healthy. S/he eats daily. S/he doesn't pick fights with the others (29 gal heavily planted Sorority tank, all female bettas + 3 minnows + 4 mystery snails). S/he will sometimes feed with the other ladies (they love the shrimp pellets dropped on the bottom), but typically s/he just swims herself off to a dark corner or under a leaf. Not dropsy, not pinecone shaped -- just shy? Or is s/he a young MALE and not really "fitting in" with the ladies? S/he is small, and I can't quite see if s/he's got the white girl bump on the bottom. But I'm suspicious because his/her fins remind me alot of one of my males (who, of course, lives all by himself in a 5 gal)... Can y'all see pics (I'm getting BETTER at underwater photography, but they move so FAST!) and give me some feedback?
