Oh but it comes with three traumatized, horribly abused betta fish! Because that’s worth a ton.
Also, did they not remember that even if you purchased the set up you were going to have to get two more for each of the other fish?

Lol. Exactly! Thnakfully, i have a 2 gallon hospital tank with divider... but still! Me and my friend dont really wanna pay 80, if we get it, maybe wie can negotiate...

I am sure there are much cheaper fish to save. This person needs to learn from their mistake and since it doesn’t seem they care much about the fish, that loss will be financial.
Even if the set up cost them $80 initially they shouldn’t be expecting to get it all back. You could offer to take the fish without the set up and see what they say.
