I have a feeling that's the aqaurius/hawkeye one.
It should be fine, just grab a heater (I'd suggest the mini ELITE 25 W since it's adjustable).

Yes, I think it is the Hawkeye one. I agree, the heater is the best investment you can make to have a betta! Just don't get one TOO powerful. the one suggested is a good one. I have the tetra one (the rinky dink cheap one from walmart) It didn't overcook him in the 1.5 and it works well in the 10 gallon since it's rated for 2-10 I do believe. It is already adjusted to 78 and keeps coming off and on when the tank needs warmed. Just pick one you feel comfortable with and I'd invest in a thermometer for the tank too to keep an eye on the temp. Also a test kit if you don't already have one to keep an eye on the water parameters. :)
Have to agree with Acrim- an adjustable 25 watt is preferable.. it's not unusual to have problems with presets getting to the right temperature if you don't keep your house pretty warm.

The 3 gallon is just fine for him :) Don't forget weekly water changes with water conditioner to keep him healthy and the tank clean.
its a AQUARIUS AquaView tank i just hope a heater can hold against its oval wall

Even if it doesn't you can just kind of float it in there! That's what I did when Cobalt was in his quarantine bowl! :)
