I don't know if you are using Autocorrect or something, but your question is kind of hard to read...

What is the grate in your tank, and what does the log look like? Can you post pictures?

Yeah its the cell the grate lays at the bottom and has a tube to where I can connect the air hose tube and the boulder is hollow underneath

I'd suggest replacing the boulder entirely and finding some safer decor for him, like a coffee cup or terracotta pot.

Why do you have a grate at the bottom of the tank? Is it an undergravel filter?

If the tank is less than 5 gallons, I would suggest taking out the filter as well. You can either replace it with a less dangerous, more useful filter, such as a sponge filter, or leave it out entirely and change your water change schedule accordingly.
