so, i'm going to start treating hoshi for parasites today.

i'm going the conservative route first with the aquarium salt/100% water changes per day. (conservative because i don't actually see any parasites, and he only has about half the symptoms).

i'm going to put him in a hospital tank without rocks or plants.

question: should i just toss all his plants? i hate to do it, because they are thriving, but if they could be harboring anything that's making him ill, i'll just do it.

OR, will the parasites not be able to live without him actually in the tank with the plants? or can i treat the plants as well?

thanks~

Lack of host will kill parasites but not bacteria

I remember your thread...2.5g unfilteded. Are the plants live? If not rinse everything in hot tap water and let it sit out with no water during.g your 2 week treatment. If there are plants then just break it down rinse off refill and don't touch 2 weeks

Make sure you can.heat to 80+
